SellCarNC is a vehicle purchasing service operated by River Rat Enterprises Inc. (Licensed & Insured). The platform is developed and powered by CTE Studios (CTE Digital LLC). We purchase used vehicles throughout Eastern North Carolina.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, as well as certain information collected automatically when you visit our website.
- Contact information — your name, phone number, email address, and ZIP code
- Vehicle information — year, make, model, mileage, VIN, condition, and title status
- Location data — general location based on your ZIP code or address for pickup coordination
- Usage data — pages visited, browser type, device type, and referring URL, collected automatically by our hosting provider Netlify
- Communication records — records of phone calls, emails, and form submissions you send to us
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Contact you with a cash offer for your vehicle
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle pickup at your location
- Respond to your questions, inquiries, and requests
- Improve our website and the quality of our services
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to any third party, ever.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — Netlify (website hosting) and Zapier (automated notifications) may process your data on our behalf, strictly as necessary to operate our services
- Legal compliance — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority
- Business successors — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity

Our services are intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8. Text Messaging (SMS)
If you tick the text-message box on our quote form, you agree to receive text messages from SellCarNC at the mobile number you gave us, about the vehicle you asked us to quote: confirmation that we received your request, your quote or offer, and pickup scheduling and reminders. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never sold or shared with anyone, except with the service providers who deliver our messages on our behalf (our SMS carrier), and only to send them.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of getting an offer; you can decline the box and we will call or email you instead. 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
