Your agreement with SellCarNC when using this website and our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using sellcarnc.com or contacting SellCarNC in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

SellCarNC purchases used vehicles in Eastern North Carolina. Through this website and by phone, we provide instant offer estimates, schedule vehicle pickups, and complete vehicle purchase transactions. All offers provided through our website or by phone are estimates based on the information you supply.

3. Offer Terms

All offers are estimates based on the vehicle description you provide. The final offer amount is confirmed upon physical inspection of the vehicle at the time of pickup. Offers are valid for 7 days from the date issued. SellCarNC reserves the right to revise or withdraw an offer if the vehicle's actual condition materially differs from the description provided.

4. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about your vehicle, including its condition, mileage, title status, and any known damage or mechanical issues. Misrepresentation of the vehicle's condition may result in a revised offer or cancellation of the transaction.

5. No Obligation

Submitting a form or receiving an offer does not obligate you to sell your vehicle to SellCarNC. You may decline any offer at any time prior to signing transfer paperwork. Likewise, SellCarNC is not obligated to purchase your vehicle until a written agreement is executed.

6. Payment

Payment is made at the time of vehicle pickup in the form of cash or check. SellCarNC does not pay via wire transfer, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or other electronic payment methods unless expressly agreed to in writing prior to pickup.

7. Title & Ownership

By agreeing to sell your vehicle, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have full legal authority to sell the vehicle
  • The vehicle is free of undisclosed liens, encumbrances, or ownership disputes
  • You will transfer clear title at the time of sale, or have disclosed any title issues in advance
  • You will remove the license plates from the vehicle and return them to the NC Division of Motor Vehicles within 10 days of the sale, as required by North Carolina law

8. Limitation of Liability

SellCarNC's total liability arising from any transaction or use of this website is limited to the agreed offer amount for the vehicle in question. SellCarNC is not liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or our services, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Onslow County, North Carolina.
